Organic Tomato 'Silvery Fir Tree' (Lycopersicon Esculentum Mill.)  - traditional Russian variety with beautiful carrot-like, silvery-gray foliage on a compact, 60cm tall plants. Bears heavy crops of round and slightly flattened, vivid read fruits weighing 70-80g. Excellent juicy, sweet, superb flavor. Best eaten fresh in salads, garnishes or on its own. The plant looks especialy beautiful when loaded with rippening fruits, reminding decorated silvery fir tree. Highly ornamental, good for indoor and small spaces growing. Growing: Outdoors/indoors. Fertile, well-drained soil preferably rich in organic matter. Regular watering to keep the soil moist, though not soggy! Warm location with plenty of sunlight and constant air movement. Regular fertilising is recommended for healthy growth and fruit foliage. For colder areas, sow in flats, using soiless peat-based mix (peat tablets/pots) 5-6 weeks prior plants can be transplanted after the danger of last frost is gone. Keep the temp of starting mix at 70-90F (24-32C). Grow seedlings at 60-70F (16-21C ).
